Have a question about Sonny’s Aurora Tours?

  • Why do so many travelers choose Sonny Aurora Tour in Yellowknife?

For the past 10 years, I have been here not simply as a tour guide, but as someone who longs for the Aurora more than anyone else, sharing this journey together with travelers from around the world.

Even after witnessing the Northern Lights under countless night skies, I still feel the same excitement and anticipation every time I wait for a new Aurora to appear. That is why I do not see this as just another tourism service, but as a lifelong passion and a journey filled with sincerity and dedication.

The Aurora is a truly special moment that can only be seen when nature allows it. Because of this, I never take my guests’ valuable travel time lightly.

With the sincere hope of saying, “I truly want you to see the Aurora during this trip,” I carefully monitor the weather, cloud movement, and Aurora activity forecasts every single day, constantly searching for the best locations and the perfect moment.

In many cases, my desire not to miss even a single opportunity or magical moment is even greater than that of the travelers themselves.

For every tour, I always remind myself that “today may be the first and last moment I share with these guests,” and I give my very best to every single experience.

For me, it is not only about seeing the Aurora. I believe it is equally important that the emotions, memories, warm atmosphere, and unforgettable photographs remain in your heart long after the journey ends.

Even during the cold winter nights, I personally prepare every detail to ensure that guests can safely and comfortably enjoy the Aurora experience. I truly value each guest’s excitement, expectations, and once-in-a-lifetime dream more than anything else.

Sonny Aurora Tour values sincerity and years of experience far more than flashy advertising.

The reason I have continued waiting under the same skies for more than a decade is simple — I genuinely want to share these beautiful moments with as many people as possible.

Whenever guests return home saying, “I’m so glad I came,” or “This was a trip I will remember for the rest of my life,” it reminds me once again why I chose this path.

The Aurora is not simply a beautiful view. It is a deeply moving experience that stays with you forever.

And being the person who sincerely wants to share that unforgettable moment with you — that is the reason Sonny Aurora Tour has continued this journey with unwavering passion for the past 10 years.
